Saudis kiss their camels to defy #coronavirus

Even deadly Coronavirus doesn’t stop Saudis from been close to their pet animals, The Camels.
Saudis post photos and video on Twitter and Youtube as kind of unorganized campaign against the government warning of MERS risk from camels as cases rise in the kingdom. Tweets are posted under the hashtag (#كورونا_و_الابل) which means “Corona and Camels” showing their passion to the dessert animal.

Thought that health experts say camels are the most likely animal source of infection for the disease, there is no vaccine or anti-viral treatment against it.

@AL_5omry and @aaaa12200 expressed objection against the corona virus rumors, saying that [they] can’t separate them from their beloved animal.

While Twitter user ‏@AlHaqbani_F declare that he is passing the day with his Camel.

Others even went further for a double dose of care as defiance to the relation between Camels and Corona Virus. The following video shows an owner kissing two camels while asking to cough on his face to show his fearless of getting infected.
